Welcome to Nursing Hues by MJ, a website designed for everyone, with a special focus on nurses. Created by Mary Jane Genuino, DNP RN-BC, affectionately known as MJ by her friends, Nursing Hues by MJ is a platform dedicated to celebrating the nursing profession and providing valuable resources.

At the heart of this website is an enchanting children's book penned by MJ, featuring a Filipina nurse named Nurse Mayumi which is due to be published in June 2023. The story revolves around Nurse Mayumi, whose name represents tenderness, softness, and modesty in Filipino culture. Through Nurse Mayumi's character, MJ beautifully captures the experiences, challenges, and triumphs of Filipina nurses around the world. The book aims to introduce young readers to the significant contributions and unwavering compassion displayed by these nurses in their daily work. To enhance the experience, a limited quantity of an accompanying doll resembling Nurse Mayumi will be available, creating a tangible connection to the story.
